Junior Tennis
The PVTC Junior Tennis Academy provides year-round training for players ages 3 and up, designed to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game. Our coaching philosophy focuses on strong fundamentals, well-rounded development, and fostering both passion and discipline.
Using the USTA’s curriculum and progression pathway, we incorporate age-appropriate equipment—lighter balls, smaller racquets, and right-sized courts—to accelerate learning while keeping every session engaging and fun.
Both group and private lessons are available to members and non-members alike. Whether your child is picking up a racquet for the first time or preparing to compete at a higher level, our dedicated coaching team is committed to helping them grow on and off the court.
USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) unites young players ages 7–18 for fun, team-based competition in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. It’s the perfect way to experience the excitement of competitive tennis in a supportive, coed environment.

When Should I Start Playing in USTA Junior Tournaments?
After players have achieved success in USTA Junior Circuit events, they may want to explore USTA Junior
Tournaments. We strongly recommend beginning at Level 7 tournaments, an intermediate level competitive
tournament that guarantees multiple matches in a short period of time.
